Getting started with REST

Now that your Narwhal endpoints are defined, you can start retrieving and sending data to your Narwhal CMS backend by using the available REST web service endpoints.

How you connect to the REST endpoints with your frontend framework or application might vary. When testing the available REST endpoints, we recommend using Postman to set up your REST request and view the responses. In this documentation we'll use Postman to visualise our examples.

In the next chapters we'll cover the necessary basics to connect to your REST API endpoints, and show examples of how to retrieve and add data.
